Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Lurch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie comes to the cage accompanied by we right here. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Lurch!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lie misses with a double jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Lie gets caught flat footed, as Lurch shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lie is looking to stand up but Lurch isn't so interested in that idea.
Lurch scoring with punches to the head and body.
Lurch controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lurch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lie's guard.
Lurch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ethan Lurch hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lie has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lurch jumps into guard, dragging Lie to the mat.

Lie has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lurch to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lie is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lurch pulls down on the head and he's put Lie to sleep! This one is all over!
