Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mitrione (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

and Collins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mitrione has hold of one of Collins's legs. Collins is fighting the takedown attempt but Mitrione gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mitrione wants to control from the top but Collins keeps moving.

Mitrione thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mitrione drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Collins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mitrione has Collins in his guard.

Mitrione has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Collins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mitrione has his foot on Collins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Collins works his way back into a safe position though.
