The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Staden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tahuna paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johan Van Staden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Staden throws a head kick but Tahuna moves out of range.
Tahuna instigates a clinch.
Van Staden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Tahuna's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tahuna closes the distance and clinches.
Tahuna connects with a nasty looking knee right to Van Staden's face.
It looks like Johan Van Staden has been cut.
Tahuna manages to break the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Tahuna! Van Staden is out on his feet! Tahuna rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Van Staden is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Van Staden is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
