PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brad Bullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by John Williams- Superman March. Clark Kent is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clark Kent!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullet shoots in but Kent avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kent checks a leg kick.

Kent looks up at the clock and then as Bullet takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kent smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kent creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kent is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bullet will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

That's time! Bullet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Bullet enables Kent to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bullet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've been informed that Kent has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Bullet has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bullet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kent looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bullet with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
