Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Byron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brandon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brandon showed some decent athleticism there.

Brandon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Byron doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brandon.

Brandon shoots in looking for a takedown but Byron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brandon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Byron enables Brandon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Byron manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Byron leaves Brandon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brandon darts in looking for a takedown but Byron gets double underhooks and turns Brandon into the cage.
Brandon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Byron after a bit of a struggle.

Byron turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Byron manages to end up in side control.

Byron has control of Brandon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brandon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Brandon is desperately trying to improve his position but Byron has a good base and remains in mount.

Byron stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Byron has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Well Byron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
