Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silver has chosen My Eyes O.O as his entrance music. Mark Kuusela has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kuusela. No joy for Silver on that attempt.

Silver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kuusela sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silver somewhat.
Silver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kuusela as he avoids it easily.

Silver is looking to stand up but Kuusela isn't so interested in that idea.
Silver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kuusela is one step ahead there.

Kuusela wants to control from the top but Silver keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silver has Kuusela pulled in close to control his posture.

Silver has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kuusela doesn't defend quickly enough and Silver has managed to lock this one up! Can Kuusela escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Silver on a fantastic submission victory.
