The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a big shot that misses.

Morgan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morgan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Morgan postures up in Hicks's guard and throws a big left but Hicks blocks it.
Hicks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morgan on the ground.
Hicks wants to get back to his feet but Morgan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hicks is breathing heavily.
Hicks has momentary wrist control but Morgan slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Morgan postures up in Hicks's guard and throws a big left but Hicks blocks it.
Morgan advances position into side control!

Morgan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hicks looks calm but he's in trouble here. Morgan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hicks is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Morgan lets go of the hold and Hicks can pop his arm back in it's socket.
