The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Derecho pinned against the cage. Derecho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Derecho looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Derecho stuffs the takedown.
Capone scores with a crisp jab that stopped Derecho in his tracks.

Capone drops Derecho with a left right combo! Capone follows him down to the ground into side control.

Derecho is rocked!

It looks like Jorge Derecho has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Capone has hold of Derecho's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Derecho tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Capone cranks the arm and Derecho screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Derecho, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
