Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Metal Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Metal ripper. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter misses with a leg kick.
Ripper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walter was well out of range. Poor timing from Ripper.
Walter scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ripper fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Walter is out of range.
Walter fails to land with a series of punches.
Good leg kick by Ripper there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Walter clinches with his opponent.
Ripper is looking to break free of the clinch but Walter has double underhooks.
Ripper misses with a punch to the body.
Walter is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Walter as Ripper tries to tie him up.

Ripper tries to bum rush Walter with a series of wild strikes but Walter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ripper clinches up with Walter and pushes him back against the cage.
Walter presses Ripper against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Ripper tries a body shot but Walter blocks it.
Walter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Walter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A slapping leg kick lands for Walter.
Ripper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Walter dodges the punch combination from Ripper.
Walter fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Ripper counters with a nice low kick that buckles Walter's knee momentarily.
Anton Walter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ripper.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Anton Walter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walter rushes Ripper and presses him up against the cage.

Walter blocks a body shot from Ripper.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Walter.
Ripper has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Walter clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ripper looking for the choke but no joy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ripper tries to keep control of the position but Walter is staying busy.
Walter is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Ripper has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Walter has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
