Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stone Freightrain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Taken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freightrain comes to the cage accompanied by Ride the Lightning. Stone Freightrain had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freightrain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Freightrain tries to bum rush Taken with a series of wild strikes but Taken uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Freightrain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Taken showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Freightrain.
Some bone on bone action there as Taken checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Freightrain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Taken is trying to maintain the position but Freightrain is very close to passing his half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Freightrain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Freightrain throws a wild body kick that Taken sees coming a mile off.
Taken closes this distance looking for a takedown but Freightrain circles away.
Freightrain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Taken tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freightrain swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Freightrain walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Freightrain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taken moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Taken throws a sloppy head kick and Freightrain moves out of range easily.
Freightrain attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Freightrain misses with a kick to the body.
Taken shoots in but no luck this time.

Freightrain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Taken.
Freightrain looks to score with a jab to the body but Taken is just out of range.
Freightrain throws a hook to the side of Taken's head but Taken sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Freightrain finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Stone Freightrain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chance Taken.

The fighters circling - Freightrain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stone Freightrain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freightrain has had enough of the clinch but Taken keeps him there for the moment.

Taken is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Freightrain pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Taken stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Taken jumps into guard, dragging Freightrain to the mat.

Taken is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Taken escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freightrain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Stone Freightrain will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The fighters circling - Freightrain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Freightrain throws a right hand that Taken ducks under and follows up with a left that Taken also avoids with ease.
Freightrain digs a good body shot into Taken's ribs.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freightrain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Taken as he jumps to the side.

A head kick misses from Freightrain.
Freightrain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taken manages to avoid it.
Taken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Freightrain.

and Freightrain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Freightrain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Taken fails with an attempt to clinch.
Freightrain misses with a double jab.
Taken shoots in but Freightrain avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Taken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freightrain tries to avoid it but Taken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freightrain to the ground. Freightrain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Taken is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Freightrain is trying to escape and Taken transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Freightrain is forced to tap! Nice work there by Taken! Very nice indeed!
