Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Kopejtka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Eriksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kopejtka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metamorphosis by Blue Stahli. Douglas Kopejtka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopejtka looks to land a combination but Eriksen avoids it well.
Nice sprawl there from Kopejtka as Eriksen shoots in.
Kopejtka throws a big shot that misses.
Eriksen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kopejtka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Kopejtka. Those never looked like landing.
Kopejtka lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Marty Eriksen has been cut.
Eriksen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kopejtka avoids it really well and circles away.
Kopejtka fails to land with a series of punches.

Eriksen takes the fight into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eriksen tries to pull guard but Kopejtka won't allow it.
Douglas Kopejtka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marty Eriksen.

Eriksen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kopejtka but Kopejtka pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kopejtka cracks Eriksen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kopejtka has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Eriksen to stand back up!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kopejtka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eriksen circles away quickly and effectively.

Kopejtka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Eriksen.

Eriksen seems to have recovered his senses.
