The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yerly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Contreras darts in and clinches Yerly up against the cage.
Contreras looking to slow down the pace here.
Yerly drops down looking for an ankle pick but Contreras pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yerly shoots in for a takedown but Contreras shows good takedown defense.
Yerly takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Cedric Yerly has been cut.

Contreras closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Contreras lands in his opponent's guard.
Contreras won't allow Yerly to sweep him here.

Contreras tries to stand but Yerly is controlling from the bottom.

Contreras has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yerly to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Contreras is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yerly pulls down on the head and he's put Contreras to sleep! This one is all over!
