Nice combo by Deems! Oh, that's hurt him - Pelaez falls to the canvas and Deems follows him into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Deems is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pelaez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pelaez is still in real trouble! Can Deems finish him?
