Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Professor Avenarius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Keynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avenarius's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Space Prophet Dogon, Sun City Girls. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Keynes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Professor Avenarius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Keynes!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keynes scores with the left hand. Avenarius knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Professor Avenarius has been cut.
Keynes swats away the attempt to clinch by Avenarius.

Avenarius clinches up with Keynes and pushes him back against the cage.
Keynes prevents Avenarius from breaking the clinch.
Keynes makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Avenarius will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Keynes up against the cage.

Keynes lands an uppercut that drops Avenarius! Keynes follows him to the canvas looking to finish.

Avenarius is rocked!
Keynes controlling the position.
Oh Avenarius is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Keynes decides to stand back up.
Avenarius looks to land a body kick but Keynes moved away.
Avenarius seems to have got his legs back now.
Avenarius misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Avenarius takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Avenarius ducks straight into an uppercut from Keynes and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Avenarius maanges to regain guard straight away.

Avenarius is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Keynes slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Oh Avenarius is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keynes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Avenarius swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Avenarius seems to have got his legs back now.

Keynes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Keynes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Avenarius fails in his attempt to clinch.
Keynes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Avenarius's hands.

Professor Avenarius's cut is getting worse.
Avenarius tries to clinch but Keynes moves out of range.
Avenarius pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Keynes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Keynes knocks Avenarius out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
