The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveira shoots in for a takedown but Lerner shows good takedown defense.
Lerner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silveira regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Lerner.
Silveira can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lerner controls the pace.
Silveira looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silveira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silveira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lerner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Silveira is tightening it up a little... Lerner has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lerner reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lerner taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silveira!

Thiago Silveira tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
