Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chapa Coco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp has chosen Feel like a Ninja as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ken Sharp is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Coco gets caught flat footed, as Sharp shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sharp trying to control but Coco is working from the bottom.
Coco tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Coco throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Sharp pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coco is keeping the position for now.
Coco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sharp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sharp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Coco controls Sharp momentarily but Sharp frees himself.

Sharp closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Coco quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sharp thows a huge punch but Coco dodges it nicely.

Sharp seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Coco does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Coco shoots in looking for a takedown but Sharp manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sharp shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coco's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Coco doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Coco is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sharp defends well.
Sharp must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round but I would say that Chapa Coco will probably get the nod.

Chapa Coco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Coco looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sharp puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Sharp stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Coco to get to his feet.

Chapa Coco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Sharp.

Sharp takes a big shot to the side of the head.

Coco lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Coco is punishing Sharp with some ground and pound.

Coco connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Sharp to escape the position.
Sharp is still in real trouble! Can Coco finish him?
Coco is working for a rear naked choke. Sharp is not defending it well and Coco has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Sharp refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Sharp's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
