Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Alfredsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheen's entrance music is IM A MAN.. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charlie Sheen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Alfredsson!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfredsson ducks under a wild hook from Sheen.
Sheen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sheen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alfredsson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Alfredsson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sheen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Alfredsson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sheen sprawls well initially but Alfredsson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Alfredsson seems to be looking for submissions.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Alfredsson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sheen is trying to get back to full guard.
Sheen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alfredsson is working away from the top position though.
Alfredsson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sheen is just riding it out for now. Alfredsson eventually gives up the hold.

Alfredsson seems to be looking for submissions.
Sheen wants to get back to full guard.
Alfredsson seems to be working for a kimura but Sheen defends the submission attempt.

Alfredsson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sheen is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

A less than humble Daniel Alfredsson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
