Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davison has chosen Cinderella Man - Eminem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davison with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Max fails with an attempt to clinch.
Max tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Max is looking to clinch but Davison is avoiding it.
Davison throws a jab when Max was well out of range.
Davison closes the distance and lands a one-two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Max tries to clinch but Davison moves out of range.
Max closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Davison scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Davison dodges the punch combination from Max.
Davison misses with an uppercut.
Davison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Davison throws a series of punches but Max avoids them all with ease.
Davison connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Max momentarily.
Davison will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davison swats away the attempt to clinch by Max.
Max wants to clinch.
Davison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davison throws a right and a left that both miss.
Max tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Davison counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

It looks like Mad Max has been cut.
Max tries to clinch but Davison moves out of range.
Davison swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Max.
Davison scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Max avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd cheers as Davison lands an impressive looking overhand right. Max doesn't seem phased though.
Davison connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Donk. Davison catches Max right on the button with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Max takes one to the side of the head.

Max is rocked!
Davison's jab looks to have found its range, popping Max under the eye.
Oh Max is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Max throws a head kick that Davison semi-blocks.
Max seems to have got his legs back now.

Davison lands a left and a right that sends Max crashing to the canvas! Davison dives into mount looking to finish!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Davison is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Max goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Davison!
