Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Pesonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zsolt Erdei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erdei has chosen Funktasztikus feat Animal Cannibals - PMLB 2008 as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesonen shoots in for a takedown but Erdei shows good takedown defense.
Nice takedown defense from Erdei. No joy for Pesonen on that attempt.
Pesonen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Erdei pinned against the cage. Erdei gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seppo Pesonen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pesonen is looking to clinch.
Pesonen throws a sloppy head kick and Erdei moves out of range easily.
Pesonen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Erdei as he jumps to the side.

Erdei keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Erdei motions for Pesonen to come forward. Erdei throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Erdei misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pesonen moves in looking to clinch but Erdei pushes him off.

Erdei throws a sloppy head kick and Pesonen moves out of range easily.
Pesonen closes the distance and clinches up with Erdei, looking for a takedown. Pesonen pushes Erdei against the cage but Erdei circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Erdei closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Erdei lands in his opponent's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Erdei's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pesonen keeping moving, preventing Erdei from controlling successfully.
Erdei has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pesonen has momentary wrist control but Erdei slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pesonen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Erdei is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pesonen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Erdei's back instead.
Erdei breaks Pesonen's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Erdei is pushing down on Pesonen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pesonen is fighting to maintain full guard but Erdei has managed to sneak the leg through.
Erdei is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Erdei seems to be working for a kimura but Pesonen defends the submission attempt.
Erdei looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pesonen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Erdei slips a nice elbow through Pesonen's hands, connecting with Pesonen's forehead.
Erdei wants to control but Pesonen is keeping him busy.

Erdei is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Erdei is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pesonen is just riding it out for now. Erdei eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pesonen wants to get back to full guard.

Erdei is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pesonen is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
