Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emile Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pain Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sauvage comes to the cage accompanied by Chaos Is Me. Peters is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: BringThe Pain. Pain Peters has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emile Sauvage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Peters!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters stuffs the takedown attempt from Sauvage. Sauvage gets slowly back to his feet.
Sauvage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sauvage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Peters looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sauvage avoids the head kick by Peters.
Sauvage throws a hook but Peters blocks it.

Sauvage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Peters's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sauvage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Peters is keeping the position for now.

Sauvage avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sauvage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Peters throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Sauvage tries to free his leg and advance position but Peters is retaining full guard.

Peters looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Peters is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Sauvage keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peters's head.

Sauvage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sauvage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sauvage is breathing heavily.
Peters tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sauvage wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Sauvage tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Peters holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Sauvage gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Peters avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sauvage.

Peters is refusing to be controlled, as Sauvage sits in half guard.
Peters wants to improve his position but Sauvage is controlling well.

Sauvage postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Sauvage thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sauvage stands and throws Peters's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Peters is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Peters is desperately trying to improve his position but Sauvage has a good base and remains in mount.

Peters sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Peters is refusing to be controlled, as Sauvage sits in half guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Peters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Peters avoids the attempt from Sauvage to control.
A nice elbow there by Peters.
Peters lands a big elbow.

Peters has hold of Sauvage's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sauvage manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Peters throwing strikes here but Sauvage is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Sauvage is looking to get to half guard.

Peters has control of Sauvage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sauvage regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Peters slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Pain Peters showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Peters has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Sauvage to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Peters is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Sauvage pulls down on the head and he's put Peters to sleep! This one is all over!
