Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between PitPat Spokesthing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). PitPat Spokesthing had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jamison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spokesthing's guard.
Jamison is looking to work some ground and pound but Spokesthing has wrist control.
Jamison trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jamison throws an elbow that misses. Spokesthing uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jamison's guard. Nice move by Spokesthing!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jamison looking for a guillotine here but Spokesthing defends easily.

Jamison looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jamison has a closed guard, preventing Spokesthing from standing up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spokesthing has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jamison is proving hard to escape from.
Jamison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jamison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spokesthing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jamison throws his legs up looking for a submission but Spokesthing uses it to pass to side control.
Jamison is looking to reverse the position.
Jamison looks to move to half guard but instead Spokesthing has passed into mount! Damn!

Jamison slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Jamison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jamison trying to control but Spokesthing postures up.
Spokesthing tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jamison.
Spokesthing definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jamison wants to improve his position but Spokesthing is controlling well.
Jamison is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Spokesthing's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Spokesthing's back!
Well, with Jamison on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Spokesthing is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Jamison lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Jamison cracks Spokesthing with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Spokesthing from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Jamison is hanging on to Spokesthing's back as he tries to escape.
Jamison lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Jamison.

Jamison has his arm under Spokesthing's chin here. Game over son! Jamison squeezes tightly and Spokesthing is forced to tap out!
