The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jagatic goes for a double leg but Grillo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grillo continues to drive forward.

Grillo manages to pull guard.

Grillo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jagatic defends well.
Jagatic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jagatic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grillo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jagatic is trying to drag Grillo to the mat but Grillo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Grillo has momentary wrist control but Jagatic slips an elbow through the middle.

Grillo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jagatic tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Grillo manages to move to mount!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jagatic is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
