Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Brockton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Butterworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacob Butterworth!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Butterworth.
Brockton closes the distance and clinches up with Butterworth, looking for a takedown. Brockton pushes Butterworth against the cage but Butterworth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Butterworth shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brockton defends it nicely.
Brockton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Alistair Brockton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Butterworth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Butterworth is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brockton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Butterworth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Butterworth is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Brockton defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Butterworth is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brockton sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Butterworth blocks the strikes from Brockton.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alistair Brockton will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brockton is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Butterworth as he works his way to full guard.

Brockton drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brockton seems to have locked his on tight now - Butterworth screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brockton, as he picks up the win!
