Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Schwetty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a jab but it's blocked by Schwetty.
Schwetty walks into a left hand.
Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sanchez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Nice straight punches there by Sanchez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sanchez.
Sanchez slips under a jab from Schwetty.

Schwetty throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Schwetty takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sanchez walks into a stiff left hand from Schwetty.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Schwetty tries to move into range but Sanchez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sanchez uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Schwetty.
A slow jab from Sanchez misses its intended target.
Sanchez lands a right hook to the body.
Sanchez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Schwetty thows a body shot but no joy.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sanchez.

Sanchez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Schwetty throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Schwetty with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sanchez to score with a decent uppercut.
Sanchez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sanchez throws a push kick but Schwetty slaps the foot to one side.
Sanchez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Sanchez.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Schwetty moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice uppercut lands for Sanchez. That snapped Schwetty's head back.

Schwetty is rocked!

The fighters circling - Sanchez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Schwetty is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanchez finish him?
Schwetty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Schwetty seems to have recovered his senses.
A left lands for Sanchez.
Sanchez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Schwetty.
Sanchez lands with a shot to the body.
Schwetty walks straight into a right hand from Sanchez - that's dropped him! Sanchez jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Schwetty from any more punishment! Schwetty complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
