PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oli Bobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bobo throws a right and a left that Borg avoids nicely.

Borg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Borg drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bobo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Borg has Bobo in his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borg can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that Oli Bobo will probably get the nod.

Borg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Borg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bobo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Borg goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bobo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Borg but great work by Bobo.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
