Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bart Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Sigbjornsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigbjornsson has chosen Greta Salóme & Jónsi....Never Forget as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bart Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunnar Sigbjornsson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson throws a right and a left that Sigbjornsson avoids nicely.

Simpson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sigbjornsson has time to react.
Sigbjornsson missing with a left hand there. Simpson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Simpson throws an overhand right that lands on Sigbjornsson's shoulder, as Sigbjornsson tries to avoid the shot.
Simpson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Simpson wants to land a leg kick but Sigbjornsson is out of range.
Simpson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sigbjornsson counters with a nice uppercut.
Simpson rushes Sigbjornsson and presses him up against the cage.
Simpson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Simpson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sigbjornsson backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is keeping an eye on Simpson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
I was talking to Simpson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Sigbjornsson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from Simpson misses.
Simpson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sigbjornsson looks winded!
Simpson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Gunnar Sigbjornsson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Simpson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sigbjornsson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sloppy strikes from Simpson. Those never looked like landing.
Bart Simpson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sigbjornsson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Simpson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Simpson connects with the punch.
Simpson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sigbjornsson sprawling to the canvas! Sigbjornsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Simpson finish him?!
Sigbjornsson is rocked!
Simpson punishes Sigbjornsson's body with a nice straight punch.
Simpson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sigbjornsson circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simpson works Sigbjornsson's body with a nice hook.
Simpson throws a powerful right kick. Sigbjornsson tried to block low but the kick was high! Sigbjornsson was taken right off of his feet! Simpson jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bart Simpson!
