The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Throb shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hammer manages to get to full guard.
Throb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Throb throws a strike but Hammer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Throb wants to control the position but Hammer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Throb looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hammer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Throb has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hammer is on him like a limpet, forcing Throb back against the cage.
Hammer prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hammer with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Reg Throb has been cut.

Throb is breathing heavily.

Throb breaks from the clinch.

Throb tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hammer defends well and Throb ends up having to push Hammer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hammer digs a right hand underneath Throb's ribcage. Throb let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hammer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Reg Throb's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
