Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Thug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tuesday's Gone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Thug!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thug swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
James misses with a body shot.
Good shot there by James.
Thug throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
We've been informed that James has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Thug throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thug just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thug. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thug throws an ugly left hook that misses
and James counters with a low kick, right behind Thug 's knee.
Thug scores with a jab to the body.
Thug scores with a push kick.
Andy Thug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thug throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
James misses with a shot to the body
and Thug counters with an outside leg kick.
Thug throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.
Thug misses with a hook.
A left and a right from James both land. Nice combination.
James takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A decent looking cross lands there for Thug.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thug throws out the jab.
Thug loads up on a big right hand but James slips the punch.
James throws a body punch but Thug moves out of range.
Thug lands a jab to the head.

Thug gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows James to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Thug preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
James slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
James stops Thug from standing up.
James is standing up over Thug. Thug looks to escape but James dives into side control.
Thug tries to escape but James is in control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thug keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thug dodges the ground and pound from James.
Thug taking a bit of punishment here - James scoring with strikes.
James in side control, just content to control the action for now.

James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Thug knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
James cracks Thug with an elbow. That is naaassty.

James landing a few strikes.
Thug takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
James in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Thug tries to buck James off but James is having none of it.
Thug wants to get back to his feet.

James has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Thug is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. James yanks on the arm and Thug is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by James.
