The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longhorn has a takedown stuffed.
King throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
King lands a nice shot to the body.

Longhorn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in King's guard.
Longhorn passes King's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Longhorn with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
King is trying to get back to full guard.

Longhorn wants to pass the guard but King is defending well.
King is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
King works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Longhorn is in close to King's body, working some short punches and elbows.

King is looking for a sweep.
Longhorn wants to control but King is keeping him busy.

Longhorn is trying to stand back up but King is controlling him
King is pressing down on Longhorn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Longhorn is holding on for now.
King stops Longhorn from getting back to his feet.
Longhorn is breathing heavily.

King is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Longhorn has managed to free his arm - good work.
King works his foot free and advances to mount.

King seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Longhorn is holding on tight.

King is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Longhorn drops his hands momentarily and King takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Longhorn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Longhorn lands with a right hand.
A combination from Longhorn does no damage.
King with a hook.
King connects with a jab.
King connects with a good right hand that stumbles Longhorn. Longhorn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Longhorn has a takedown stuffed.
Longhorn ducks right into an uppercut from King.

Longhorn is standing up, even though he is in mount.
David King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Longhorn jabs King right on the nose. King blinks but takes it well.
Whack! Longhorn lands a heavy head kick that drops King. The ref tackles Longhorn to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because King was done.
