Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Judo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Marcos Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcos Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Judo!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva instigates a clinch.

Judo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva looks to land a left hand but Judo moved out of range nicely.
Judo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like Jack Judo has been cut.
Judo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Judo gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva tries to clinch but Judo moves out of range.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva misses with a right hand

and Judo counters by clinching up.
Silva can't get the takedown.
Silva lands a body punch in the clinch.
Judo lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Silva has Judo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Judo tumbling to the mat - Silva dives into Judo's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Marcos Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Judo.

Judo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Silva to the ground. Judo is now in Silva's guard.

Judo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Silva to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Silva is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Combat Zone [15 Elite & Sauna that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Judo moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Judo's head.

Judo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Judo eventually gives up the hold.

Judo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Silva reverses the position - he's now on top in Judo's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Judo is on top in guard.

Judo throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
