PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kun Validas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phoebus Abel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Validas has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abel lands with an uppercut that bounces Validas off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Kun Validas has been cut.
Abel lands a jab to the nose.
Validas is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Abel.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Abel has cracked Validas with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Abel lands another huge swinging hook and Validas tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Validas, before Abel can land any more shots!
