Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colby Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines tries to clinch but Felix moves out of range.

Felix moves into the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Felix.
Felix tries to pull guard but Hines won't allow it.
Felix is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hines to keep the fight standing.
Felix jumps guard but Hines stands there with Felix around his waist. Felix gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Felix decides to pull guard.

Felix has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hines is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Felix.

Hines stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Felix dives in and grabs Hines's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hines pushes down on Felix's head and hops out.

Felix leaves Hines with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hines shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Felix sprawls well. Felix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hines gets slowly back to his feet.

Hines drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Felix gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Felix tries to pull guard but Hines forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Felix tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hines smiles and moves away.
Felix stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Felix wants it to stay on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hines jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Felix walks away with a smile on his face. Hines gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Felix throws a big shot that misses.
Felix fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Colby Hines will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Felix tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hines swivels and escapes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hines enables Felix to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hines manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hines bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Felix's guard.
Hines seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Felix looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hines is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Felix takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Felix throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hines in particular looking to stall.

Hines decides to stand and escape the position.
Felix blocks a head kick by Hines.
Felix is looking to clinch but Hines is avoiding it.
Felix misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hines forces Felix back against the cage and clinches.
Felix tries to pull guard but Hines forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Felix is pushing Hines up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Hines fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Felix swings wildly with an uppercut but Hines uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hines advances position into side control!
Felix is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hines is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Felix is trying desperately to improve position.

Hines throwing wild punches that miss their target.

Hines has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Felix has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Felix rolls, trying to escape but Hines keeps control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hines is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Hines seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Felix for as long as he can get away with.

Even with his hooks in, Hines manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Felix tries to break free.

Hines has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Felix's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hines, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
