The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Stoppers is just out of range.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Stoppers's head but Stoppers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Daniel Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a big shot that misses.
Stoppers lands a nice hook to Silva's body. Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stoppers.

It looks like Daniel Silva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoppers scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.
Stoppers feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.

Silva is aggressively charging in as Stoppers backs up avoiding any damage. Stoppers tosses out a jab and Silva runs right into it face first! Silva is out cold! Stoppers dropped down on all fours and is barking in Silva's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

After the fight, Willy Stoppers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
