Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lowell Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williamson misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a good low kick that Williamson was not able to check.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Williamson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Jones can't break the clinch.
Williamson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williamson tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.
Williamson wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones has his foot on Williamson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williamson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williamson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Williamson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williamson throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Williamson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones tries to clinch up but Williamson circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Williamson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lowell Williamson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Jones shoots and misses
and Williamson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones has momentary wrist control but Williamson slips an elbow through the middle.
Williamson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Williamson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with.
Williamson has hold of Jones's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jones seems comfortable defending it but Williamson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Williamson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
