The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mattos throws out the jab.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mattos , as that shot connected.
Mattos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nasu.

and Mattos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mattos lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Mattos misses with a short punch on the inside.
Nasu swings wildly with an uppercut but Mattos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mattos prevents the takedown attempt.
Nasu throws a knee to the head but misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Mattos .
Nasu is trying to force a seperation but Mattos has the dominant position.
Mattos scores with a shot to the side of Nasu's head.

Nasu is looking to take this one to the mat.
Moyses Mattos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katsumi Nasu.

and Mattos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nasu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nasu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nasu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Nasu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
