The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gurgel looks to land a combination but Kleinschmidt avoids it well.

Gurgel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kleinschmidt to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gurgel wants to sweep but no luck.

That was a close round but I would say that Elroy Kleinschmidt will probably get the nod.
