Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Turilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Matson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Turilli might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to krolithika. Matson has chosen Remember the name as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Turilli counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Matson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Turilli throws out a loose jab but Matson uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Turilli crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Matson - the referee stops the clock and Turilli gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Matson. Turilli manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Turilli with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matson to score with a decent uppercut.

Matson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turilli sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Matson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turilli back to the cage. Matson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Turilli tries to bum rush Matson with a series of wild strikes but Matson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oh Turilli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Turilli wants to clinch
and Matson counters with a low kick, right behind Turilli 's knee.
Turilli seems to have got his legs back now.
Matson cracks a nice hook into Turilli's ribs.
Turilli is breathing heavily.
Turilli attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Luca Turilli's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Matson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Turilli has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
