Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Gallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nadi Tsunami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nadi Tsunami has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Gallo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nadi Tsunami!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gallo. Tsunami does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tsunami bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tsunami is looking to take a break and control but Gallo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tsunami tries to advance to mount but can't.
Tsunami wants to control but Gallo is keeping him busy.
Sloppy strikes there by Tsunami.

Tsunami decides to stand back up. Tsunami steps back and let's Gallo get back to his feet.

Tsunami tries to clinch
and Gallo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tsunami bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tsunami has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Tsunami tries to move into range but Gallo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gallo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gallo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tsunami tries to bum rush Gallo with a series of wild strikes but Gallo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tsunami fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gallo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tsunami lands a nice shot that snaps Gallo's head back.

Tsunami tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gallo is able to avoid easily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nadi Tsunami hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gallo.
Gallo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gallo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gallo connects with a crisp jab.
Gallo leaves Tsunami with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gallo thuds his right hand into Tsunami's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Gallo will probably get the nod.
