Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ismael Gesta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ismael Gesta has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ismael Gesta seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gesta uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilson.
An inside leg kick from Wilson misses.
Wilson throws a low kick but Gesta avoids it.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses.
Gesta tries to clinch there but Wilson circles away.
Wilson scores with a leg kick.
Wilson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gesta tries to clinch but Wilson moves out of range.
Wilson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gesta is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Wilson counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gesta avoids a kick to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wilson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gesta has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gesta and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gesta tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it.
Wilson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gesta wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance.
Wilson throws a jab when Gesta was well out of range.
Gesta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gesta checks a leg kick.

Gesta lands with a good body shot.
Wilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilson throws a head kick but Gesta moves out of range.
Gesta cracks Wilson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A jab lands there for Gesta.
Gesta blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Gesta closes the distance but Wilson moves to the side
and Gesta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wilson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gesta eats them both and turns towards Wilson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gesta tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance.
Gesta has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wilson.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilson lands a nice looking body shot.
Gesta tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Good leg kick by Wilson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wilson misses with a straight left.

Gesta's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gesta duly obliges.

Lee Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Wilson counters with a stiff right hand.

Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilson swats away the attempt to clinch by Gesta.
Wilson thows a body shot but no joy.
Wilson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gesta.

Wilson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wilson missing with a left hand there. Gesta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wilson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gesta tries to clinch up.

Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wilson throws the left hand but Gesta avoids the punch easily.
Gesta tries to clinch but Wilson moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Wilson as he connects with a hook.
Gesta throws a hook but Wilson avoids it easily.
Gesta on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wilson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gesta has time to react.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wilson.
Gesta is rocked!
BOOM! Wilson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gesta. Gesta tries to recover but Wilson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gesta lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Wilson!
After the fight, Lee Wilson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
