Iafeta looks to clinch
and Holmes counters with a straight right hand.

Holmes drops Iafeta with a beautiful combination! Iafeta stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Holmes is looking for the KO!

Iafeta is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Iafeta wants to clinch.
Oh Iafeta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Iafeta wants to clinch but Holmes slips to the side
and Holmes counters with a straight right hand.
Iafeta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holmes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Iafeta doesn't manage to clinch there - Holmes circles away.

Iafeta seems to have got his legs back now.
Iafeta darts in trying to clinch
and Holmes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Iafeta tries to clinch but Holmes is having none of it.
Iafeta doesn't manage to clinch there - Holmes circles away.
Holmes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Iafeta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holmes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Holmes misses with a straight left.
Holmes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Iafeta takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Iafeta moves to clinch but Holmes breaks away
and Holmes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Iafeta thinking.
Holmes throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Iafeta's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Holmes dives in looking to finish as Iafeta flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Holmes's strikes! Holmes is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Iafeta's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Iafeta was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
