Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Gruber ducks under a wild hook from Lance.
Gruber lands a nice looking body shot.
Gruber needs to keep his hands up - Lance had a free shot at his head there.
We've been told by Lance's head coaches at The Pit that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lance lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lance on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gruber throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lance.

Hans Gruber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice straight punches there by Lance. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lance.
Gruber swings for the body but Lance moves out of range.
Gruber fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lance manages to avoid it.

Lance throws a hook to the side of Gruber's head but Gruber sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gruber bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gruber misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Gruber. Those never looked like landing.
Lance digs a good hook to Gruber's body.
Gruber misses the shot to the body.

Gruber misses with a double jab
and Lance counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lance drops Gruber with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gruber! Lance dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
