Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ned Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ned Terry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Dude!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Terry throws a head kick that misses.
Dude darts in looking for a takedown but Terry gets double underhooks and turns Dude into the cage.
Terry prevents a takedown attempt there.

Dude manages to break the clinch.
Dude tries to clinch but Terry moves out of range.
Terry fails to land the takedown.
Terry throws a solid leg kick but Dude takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Terry.

Terry pushes Dude up against the cage in a clinch.
Dude tries to pull guard but Terry holds him up against the cage and eventually Dude drops back down to his feet.
Ned Terry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Dude.
Knees to the body from Dude.
Terry is trying to pull guard but Dude turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Dude pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Dude as Terry shoots in.
Terry throws a good cross that connects.
Dude misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Terry gets tackled into the cage by Dude. Dude maintains the clinch.
Terry misses with a hook to the ribs.
Terry is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dude to keep the fight standing.
Terry blocks an elbow strike from Dude.
Terry prevents a takedown attempt there.
Terry is looking to take this one to the mat.

Terry pulls Dude into guard.
Dude slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dude stands up from Terry's guard - Dude perhaps looking for a knockout.
Dude throws a shot from downtown. Terry moves away and avoids it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dude dives in for a single leg takedown but Terry sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Terry is looking to break free of the clinch but Dude has double underhooks.
Dude fails to pull guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Terry wants a takedown.
Dude drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Terry taking a breather.

Dude escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dude shoots in but no luck this time.
Terry has a takedown stuffed.
Terry lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Terry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dude tries to clinch up.
Terry steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dude. That one must have hurt.
Terry blocks a head kick by Dude.
Dude fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dude looks winded!
Terry takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Terry tries to clinch there but Dude circles away.
Terry leaves Dude with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Terry.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Terry slaps away a takedown attempt from Dude, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dude looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Terry is fending him off so far but Dude persists. Nope, Terry circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Al Dude will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Terry tries to pull guard but Dude holds him up against the cage and eventually Terry drops back down to his feet.
Terry slows down the pace here.
Dude trying to stall but Terry improves his position.
Terry content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Dude breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Terry lands the left hand.

Terry has Dude up against the cage in a clinch.
A right hand to the body from Terry.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dude lands a body punch in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Terry's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Dude tries to score a body lock takedown but Terry shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Terry wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Dude breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Terry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dude tries to avoid it but Terry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dude to the ground. Dude escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dude wants to clinch.
Terry looks to land a right hand but Dude moved out of range.
Dude looks to score with a jab to the body but Terry is just out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dude tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Terry defends well and Dude ends up having to push Terry into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dude jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Terry walks away with a smile on his face. Dude gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ned Terry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Dude.
Terry tries for a takedown but Dude sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ned Terry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dude stuffs the takedown attempt from Terry. Terry gets slowly back to his feet.
Dude closes the distance and clinches up with Terry, looking for a takedown. Dude pushes Terry against the cage but Terry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dude is breathing heavily.
Dude shoots in for a takedown but Terry shows good takedown defense.
Terry throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Terry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Terry wants it to stay on the feet.
Dude tries to clinch but Terry is having none of it.

Terry moves into the clinch successfully.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Terry as Dude tries to tie him up.
Terry stalling in the clinch but Dude improves position.
Dude keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Terry's efforts to push away.

Dude manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Terry or perhaps it was just good defense by Dude which made him look bad.
Dude on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Dude fails to pull guard.

Terry scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dude doesn't seem bothered though.
A head kick misses from Terry.
Dude shoots in for a double leg but Terry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Terry tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dude defends well and Terry ends up having to push Dude into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dude has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Terry is trying to push Dude away but Dude has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dude jumps guard but Terry stands there with Dude around his waist. Dude gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Terry pulls guard effortlessly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ned Terry dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Terry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dude defends it nicely.
Dude throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Terry shoots in for a takedown but Dude shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dude tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Terry paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Terry darts in and clinches Dude up against the cage.
Dude struggles to land a body shot inside as Terry controls his hands.
Dude has Terry pressed against the cage, preventing Terry from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dude avoiding damage.
Terry throws an elbow but it misses.

Dude lands a nice shot to the body.
Dude tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terry smiles and moves away.
Dude shoots for a double leg takedown but Terry sprawls well. He's pushed Dude's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dude takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Terry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dude as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Terry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dude is looking to clinch.
Dude goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A clash of legs there as Dude blocks the low kick.
Terry shoots in but Dude avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dude looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Terry is fending him off so far but Dude persists. Nope, Terry circles away and we're back to standing.

Terry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dude was well out of range. Poor timing from Terry.

Terry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dude is fending him off so far but Terry persists. Nope, Dude circles away and we're back to standing.

Dude closes the distance and clinches.
Dude tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terry smiles and moves away.
Terry gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Dude counters by moving into the clinch.
Dude goes for a takedown attempt but Terry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Terry. No joy for Dude on that attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dude goes for a double leg but Terry avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Terry continues to drive forward.

Dude's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Terry with that takedown attempt.
Terry shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nice takedown defense from Dude. No joy for Terry on that attempt.
Dude has a takedown stuffed.

Terry shoots in and gets a takedown into Dude's guard.
Terry trying to control but Dude is working from the bottom.
Terry won't allow Dude to sweep him here.

Dude working for a triangle but Terry defends it easily.
Terry wants to control from the top but Dude keeps moving.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ned Terry.
Well Terry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
