Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samor Kanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hjalmar Soderberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kanen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to BURN ONE DOWN. Samor Kanen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hjalmar Soderberg's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanen avoids a kick to the body.
Soderberg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kanen.

and Soderberg counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Soderberg.
Soderberg tries to free his leg and advance position but Kanen is retaining full guard.

Kanen throws an overhand right that lands on Soderberg's shoulder, as Soderberg tries to avoid the shot.
Kanen lands a nice shot to the body.
Kanen tried to score with a low kick but Soderberg checks it.
Kanen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Soderberg's sensitive parts.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kanen. Soderberg shrugs it off though.

Soderberg moves out of range of the body kick from Kanen.
Kanen throws a combination. Soderberg tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kanen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kanen cracks Soderberg with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Soderberg looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kanen finish him?

Kanen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Soderberg if he has to take too many more of those.
Soderberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Kanen finish him?
Soderberg is breathing heavily.
Soderberg walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Soderberg limp body while Kanen jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samor Kanen!

After winning the bout, Samor Kanen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
