Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Burbank Bulldog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulldog comes to the cage accompanied by British Bulldog. LaRusso has chosen You're The Best! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Burbank Bulldog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny LaRusso!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulldog throws a series of punches but LaRusso avoids them all with ease.
Bulldog misses with a takedown attempt - LaRusso sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice body punch from Bulldog.
LaRusso lands with a nice body punch.
Bulldog shoots in but no luck this time.
LaRusso scores with a jab to the body.
Bulldog tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. LaRusso manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bulldog shoots for a takedown but LaRusso saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burbank Bulldog. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good standup being displayed there by LaRusso as he connects with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bulldog tries to close the distance and clinch but LaRusso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bulldog will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bulldog shoots in for a double leg but LaRusso sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bulldog has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bulldog shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as LaRusso sprawls well. LaRusso wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bulldog gets slowly back to his feet.
LaRusso throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bulldog is breathing heavily.
LaRusso swats away the attempt to clinch by Bulldog.
LaRusso lands a head kick. Bulldog smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Bulldog tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but LaRusso swivels and escapes.
Bulldog on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by LaRusso. LaRusso obviously looking to wear him down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LaRusso lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
LaRusso buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
LaRusso lands a big head kick that sends Bulldog tumbling to the mat! LaRusso takes a step backwards and waves Bulldog back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Bulldog is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bulldog drops his hands momentarily and LaRusso needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Bulldog just on the top of the head. Bulldog drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Bulldog - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johnny LaRusso!
An out of breath Johnny LaRusso thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
