The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stammler connects with a single shot there.
Hennings takes one to the side of the head.

We've been hearing good reports from Hennings's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Stammler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hennings's guard.
Hennings is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stammler can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hennings seems to be looking for submissions.
Stammler is staying active underneath Hennings, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hennings seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stammler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hennings will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I really don't envy Stammler right now.
