Amparo comes to the cage accompanied by NFG - Head-on Collision. Kaito Ishikawa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bennet Amparo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaito Ishikawa!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amparo lands with an overhand left.
Amparo lands with a good body shot.
Ishikawa throws a sloppy head kick and Amparo moves out of range easily.
Amparo connects with a single shot there.
Amparo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Amparo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ishikawa throws a body kick that misses
and Amparo counters with a nice body shot.
Amparo throws a nice looking combination but Ishikawa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Amparo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ishikawa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Amparo ducks under a wild hook from Ishikawa.
Ishikawa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Amparo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ishikawa.
Amparo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ishikawa avoids the head kick by Amparo.
Ishikawa misses with an uppercut
and Amparo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Amparo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Amparo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ishikawa throws a sloppy head kick and Amparo moves out of range easily.
Ishikawa takes one to the side of the head.
Ishikawa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donk. Amparo catches Ishikawa right on the button with a cross.


Ishikawa is rocked!
Amparo lands with a straight right. Ishikawa didn't see that one coming.
Ishikawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Amparo finish him?
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ishikawa.
Amparo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Ishikawa covering up! Amparo comes in with a big uppercut and Ishikawa goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bennet Amparo!
