The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nathan defends well and Silva ends up having to push Nathan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nathan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Silva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nathan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.
Nathan wants to break free but Silva has control.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nathan is in a horrible position here. Silva smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
