Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanex Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop DoGG. Sanex Lewis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josh Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Sanex Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Jones!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis fails with the takedown
and Jones counters with a right hand to the body.
Lewis keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.
We've been told by Lewis's head coaches at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lewis is looking to clinch.

Lewis gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.

Jones gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Jones is looking to advance position but Lewis won't allow it.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lewis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Horrible takedown by Lewis or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

Jones pulls guard.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lewis is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sanex Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lewis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lewis. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lewis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Lewis is now in Jones's guard.
Lewis works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold.

Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lewis to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lewis wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lewis is proving hard to escape from.

Jones stands up from Lewis's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lewis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
