Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerzy Arlecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Houellebecq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlecki comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. Houellebecq has chosen The Prodigy - Spitfire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jerzy Arlecki had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houellebecq sizes up Arlecki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Houellebecq will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Houellebecq has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Arlecki is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Arlecki lands with a nice body punch.
Houellebecq tried to score with a low kick but Arlecki checks it.
Houellebecq comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Houellebecq tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Arlecki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Houellebecq on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Good leg kick by Houellebecq there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Houellebecq takes the fight into the clinch.

Houellebecq blocks a body shot from Arlecki.
Houellebecq has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Houellebecq ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arlecki moves away.

Arlecki takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Arlecki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Houellebecq misses with a body shot.
Houellebecq looks for the body kick but Arlecki saw that one coming.
Houellebecq cracks Arlecki with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Houellebecq lands the left hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Houellebecq.
Houellebecq fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arlecki manages to avoid it.
Arlecki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Houellebecq to score with a decent uppercut.
Houellebecq tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Arlecki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Arlecki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Houellebecq throws out the jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Houellebecq finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Houellebecq. That's going to slow Arlecki down.
Houellebecq wants to clinch but Arlecki slips to the side
enabling Arlecki to counter with a crisp jab.
Houellebecq jabs Arlecki to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Houellebecq pushes Arlecki back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Houellebecq tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Arlecki pushes off an throws an elbow but Houellebecq leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Houellebecq pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Good shot there by Arlecki.
Arlecki swats away the attempt to clinch by Houellebecq.
Houellebecq blocks a head kick by Arlecki.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Houellebecq scores with a crisp jab that stopped Arlecki in his tracks.
Arlecki is rocked!
Houellebecq lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Arlecki is looking to close the distance but Houellebecq sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Arlecki crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Arlecki is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
