Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frazier.
Frazier on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lee has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Lee throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee works the jab nicely.
Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Frazier.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A combination from Frazier does no damage.
Frazier throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Frazier. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Frazier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Frazier is out of range.

Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lee looks to land a right hand but Frazier moved out of range.
Frazier looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range.
Frazier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.
Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Frazier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frazier throws a shot to the body.
Lee misses with a looping right.
Lee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frazier. Frazier circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Frazier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Frazier pushes Lee up against the ropes in a clinch.

Frazier lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lee at a distance.
Nice body punch from Frazier.

Frazier moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Frazier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Frazier scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A jab from Frazier does it's job there.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lee gets tackled into the ropes by Frazier. Frazier maintains the clinch.
Lee wants to break free but Frazier has control.

Frazier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Frazier is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lee rather than just go for the knockout.
Lee stalks Frazier and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Frazier's face. Frazier staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Joe Frazier has been cut.
Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Frazier lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lee misses with a head kick.
Frazier moves out of range of the strikes.
Frazier takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee throws a poor cross that misses
and Frazier counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cung Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Frazier.
Frazier misses with a series of wild punches.

Frazier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Frazier seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt.

Frazier stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lee to get to his feet.
Lee throws a big shot that misses.
Lee throws a hook but Frazier blocks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee throws a leg kick which misses Frazier's front leg but catches the back leg as Frazier tries to avoid it.
Frazier does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lee throws a head kick but Frazier moves out of range.
Donk. Frazier catches Lee right on the button with a cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Lee misses with an uppercut. Frazier saw that one coming.
Frazier lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Joe Frazier seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Lee throws a series of punches but Frazier avoids them all with ease.
Frazier pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lee slips a straight right by Frazier.
Lee sizes up Frazier with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Frazier clinches.
Lee tries to break the clinch but Frazier is controlling the position.
Lee tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Frazier avoids it.

Frazier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frazier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lee.

Lee throws a body punch but Frazier moves out of range.
Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frazier circles away quickly and effectively.
Frazier misses with the combination.
Lee throws a series of punches but Frazier moves out of range.
Lee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Frazier eats them both and turns towards Lee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lee takes one to the side of the head.
Frazier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee misses with a wild combination.
Lee misses with a body punch
and Frazier makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.

Frazier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Frazier stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Donk. Frazier catches Lee right on the button with a cross.

Lee listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Lee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Frazier blocks a head kick by Lee.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Frazier keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Frazier on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lee needs to keep his hands up - Frazier had a free shot at his head there.
Lee misses with a double jab
and Frazier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lee scores with a head kick. Frazier tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Lee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Frazier's head.


Frazier is rocked!
Frazier throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
Frazier is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Lee drops Frazier with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Frazier! Lee dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cung Lee!
A less than humble Cung Lee misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
